These gifts from the deep sea are now, through the innovative transformation by Shandong Keju Pharmaceutical, not only reaching across China from Weihai’s coastline but also crossing oceans to become a “health business card” in the global market.

In the production workshop of Keju Pharmaceutical, automated production lines operate at high speed. Bottles of exquisitely packaged fish collagen beverages move orderly along the conveyor belt. This is a signature health product developed by Keju leveraging Weihai’s marine resources. Every step, from deep-sea raw materials to the final beverage, embodies meticulous exploration and technological empowerment of the ocean’s treasures.
Li Zhenxing, head of the technical department at Shandong Keju Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., said, “For health supplements, the smaller the molecular weight, the easier they are to absorb. Therefore, we generally use small-molecule peptides below 3000 Daltons to make beverages. We then add fruit juice to adjust taste and color, along with collagen to enhance efficacy.”

Beside the production line, newly introduced high-speed filling equipment completes packaging at a rate of two bottles per second. The fully sterile workshop environment ensures product stability even without the addition of preservatives.

Beyond the fish collagen series, Keju Pharmaceutical has also extensively utilized Weihai’s marine algae resources.
